Inspiration station

Recently i've looked throught my all time favourite fashion photographs and at the top of my list is the genius Steven Meisel with his ultimate collection for Italian Vogue that i will always love. Everything is  so beautifuly calculated, the styling ,the makeup , the models -there is not a single flaw.                              I am starting with my two personal favourites -This one is just so exciting-i can't get over it/particulary loving the colour scheme.

The makeup for the two looks is out of this world ! And the model Meghan Collison is just the right stunner.

 

You probably already recognised Lara Stone 

I started following Steven Meisel's work because of Kevyn Aucoin-as he is one of the lucky photographers that was with him at the very start of his carrear.These images are like a modern Klimt painting,it is amazing how they really look like paintings.And even though all this colour  is giving me headache I can not take my eyes of it.

The really good news is that you can buy a jigsaw puzlle with the image and frame it/which i already did/ and well excited about it :)

You can see that I have been busy shopping for my kit again.

And here is what I bought/starting from the top left spotty box/ Topshop cream blush in Neon Rose-amazing bright neon orange with a hint of pink; M.A.C-paint pot-painterly-it is a must for me -I always have to have it : M.A.C-lipstick-Ruby Woo-again a must for a matte red lips;Topshop -Highlighter-Sunbeam-great higlighter for fair and medium skin type/and I adore the cute packaging/;Make up forever-HD powder-Translucent;Topshop Face&Body Crayon-Sun Shower-You can use it everywhere/amazing pigmentation/,Bobbi Brown -Stick foundation/I have been using these more than a year and swear by it/;Nars blush -Exhibit A-Right!there are no words to describe this stunning prodct / it is highly pigmented in fact the most pigmented ever  on planet earth/It suits absolutely every single skin type and you need just a tiny speck;Ellis Faas -Creamy lips L101/-blood red/and I mean blood/The first ever lipstick that replicates real blood 100%-Can't wait to use it myself;Nars-Pro Prime /Smudge proof eyeshadow base/-it makes your eyeshadows brighter and cements them so they don't smudge,move etc;Benefit -velvet eyeshadow-Raining men-I love the green-gray colour of this cutie!This is for now have a nice weekend!

CIATE 3D NAILS

It is all about nails again!
This time is Ciate -caviar manicure sets.Yes this gorgeous and sophisticated nail varnishes are so cool.They create amazing 3D effect and come in 3 different shades black,pearly white and pink.I have tried the white one a month ago and is also lovely.At the moment they are exclusive at Selfridges,but from next month you can find them everywhere as well as www.ciate.co.uk.

Just a little tip !If you want your 3D nails to stay colourful you must apply very thin layer of top coat an the top otherwise they will loose their gorgeousness  :)

And here are the blushers I am using most at the moment.I love all of them,some are extremelly pigmented and last all day like the Make up forever HD Blush/it really last forever and it looks so natural,the only downside to this one is that you really have to work it quicky into the skin as it dries out extra fast/The one by Gosh has shimmery bits in it ,but not to much.

Happy nails

I am a bit obsessed with nails,nail varnishes and nail design as you will see later on.
These are two of my recent designs .

The first one is  a nyan cat rainbow nails-special request :)-very fun and cute.


Second one I am wearing right now and I used one of my all time favourite Essie colour/

I have got more to come but this is for now to cheer you up from the horrid English weather.

Editorial mood board

Here is my editorial mood board and the inspiration behind it-Marilyn Monroe and Belle Epoque woman-I know they don't really go together,but I love the mistery of the one and the boho feel and femininity of the other.This is the end result and I love it!
I wanted fresh perfect and luxurious looking skin,used peachy blush ,3 different shades of gold eyeshadow/Shu Uemura/,and strong red matt lips/russian red by M.A.C.The hair's purposely undone and relaxed do comlete the look perfectly in my opinion!

This is my mood board for the Beauty photo shoot I did a few weeks ago.underneath is a picture result/unretouched yet/.

For the beauty look I was inspired from the old paintings of women.English rose look/although my model is not an english rose,in fact she is brazilian/.I wanted natural eyebrows,perfect skin,and youthful glow,Pink pastelly colours and shiny hair.The look is meant to be pure,but also feminine and natural.
